Photo Gallery | PHOTOS: Thieves steal rare sculptures from home

SACRAMENTO, CA - Police are looking for thieves who stole four rare sculptures from a east Sacramento home in early December.

The burglars broke into the home near 52nd Street and J Street on Dec. 10 and stole two life-sized ceramic sculptures, one life-sized human face and a bronze sculpture, Sacramento police said.

The next day, a man and a woman tried to sell the sculptures to an antique store in Sacramento. Police said the two people did not have the sculptures with them, but had photographs of the sculptures, which witnesses believed were the stolen pieces.

Anyone with information about the one-of-a-kind sculptures are urged to call police at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357) or text in a tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
