Kids and athletics always make for an interesting combination and are certainly fun to watch!   But sometimes early athletics can lead to amazing opportunities with hard work, talent and timing. In fact, there are definite periods of time when kids are most ready to acquire certain skills.

To learn more, attend a complimentary Wellness Education Seminar this Wednesday evening, October 16, at 6 p.m. presented by Arden Hills Personal Trainer Jennifer Enos.  You can learn more about the stages and how they can help young athletes be led on a path of proper long-term athletic development.

Arden Hills Swimming Coach Brian Nabeta Honored with a Prestigious “Award of Excellence”

The American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) has recognized Brian Nabeta, USA Swim Team Head Coach & Director of Aquatics for Arden Hills, with a coveted “Award of Excellence” during the 2013 ASCA World Clinic held recently in New Orleans.  Each year, the ASCA recognized those individuals who coach a swimmer to a top-8 finish at one of several USA national-level championships. Out of more than 15,000 swim coaches in the U.S., only 184 received this prestigious honor in 2013 and the vast majority were high school swim coaches. The only other Arden Hills coach ever to be recognized with this top honor was the late Sherm Chavoor, who founded the Resort in 1954 and put Arden Hills on its path to offer world-class swim and tennis programs.
