Tenth Annual Run Rocklin Will Once Again Benefit Matt Redding Foundation

Early registration suggested since event will cap at 3,000 runners

 

The 10th annual “Run Rocklin” will be held Sunday, April 7 at Johnson-Springview Park in Rocklin.

Since 2004, Run Rocklin has provided a top-notch running event for Rocklin and the surrounding communities. The event has benefited the Matt Redding Foundation and Rocklin’s local schools since 2007. 

Run Rocklin includes:

  • Kids Fun Run: 7:45 a.m.
  • 12K Run: 8 a.m.
  • 5K Run/Walk: 8:20 a.m.
  • Kids 1-mile Run: 9:30 a.m.

Adults can pre-register for $34 prior to race day and the cost increases to $39 on the day of the run. Ages 18-under can pre-register for $20; cost is $25 on race day.

Arden Hills Promotes Adric Jope to Otters Head Coach and Announces New Season Sign-Ups

Arden Hills has promoted Adric Jope to Head Otters Coach and has announced sign-ups for the 2013 Otters Swim Team.  In his expanded new role at the wellness resort, Jope will oversee up to 10 Otters swim coaches and lead the popular recreational swim program that includes more than 250 youth swimmers ranging in age from three to 18.  Sign-ups for the 2013 Otters Swim Team season begin on Saturday, February 9, at Arden Hills.

A long-time member of Arden Hills, Jope participated for many years on the Otters Swim Team and swam competitively for 14 years before becoming a swim coach at the Resort in 2010.  First and foremost, Jope’s coaching philosophy for the Otters recreational swim team is to make it fun by creating a friendly team environment.  He is also very competitive and works to help the team members reach their fullest potential.

Arden Hills Announces Promotions for Children & Youth Program Managers

In an effort to expand its focus on providing positive children, youth and family-focused offerings, Arden Hills has promoted Renee Bellomy to Youth & Family Program Manager and Lindsey Griffin to Kids Korner Manager, effective immediately. 

As the Arden Hills Youth & Family Program Manager – a newly created position for the Resort – Bellomy is responsible for planning all youth and family-focused events, activities and seminars in addition to overseeing the on-site Kids Korner childcare center and creating a series of new outdoor excursion offerings in 2013.
