 Local Childhood Cancer Organization, Keaton Raphael Memorial Asks all to Join the Fight and Go Gold for September- Because Kids Can’t Fight Alone!

September is a time to go for the gold and fight back for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Local charity, Keaton Raphael Memorial (KRM) represents gold all year round focusing on building awareness every day. Their mission is to provide educational, emotional, and financial support for children with cancer and their families while building awareness and funds toward a cure. Contact events@childcancer.org to find out how you can help this month to continue the fight until the day we can all say, a cure has been found.

Tour the Trees of McKinley Park

Tour the Trees of McKinley Park

Join the Sacramento Tree Foundation for a tree tour of Sacramento’s beloved McKinley Park. The tours will begin near the Shepard Garden and Art Center parking lot. The tours will be lead by a Certified Arborist. 

Participants are encouraged to bring a tablet or smartphone and will be shown how to identify trees, edit data, and a lot more using GreenprintMaps.  Digital technology is not required to enjoy the trees and the tour.
