VIDEO: 'KISS' bandit may have tried third stick-up | Crime

SACRAMENTO, CA - The so-called "KISS" robber may have struck again.

Last week, the Sacramento Police Department asked the public's help for information about two armed robberies in which detectives believe it was same person wearing a "KISS" rock band mask disguise in the crimes.

Then Saturday,  Jan. 21, at 8:16 p.m., a person in a similar disguise entered a convenience store on the 4000 block of 12th Avenue.

Store surveillance video shows the masked man point a gun at a man who Sacramento police confirmed to be the store owner's grandfather. However, as evidenced on the store video, the grandfather tried to grab the gun and ripped the gunman's mask off in an ensuing struggle.

Unmasked, the suspect fled the store and was chased by a witness who saw him get into a light blue sedan and drive away.

The suspect was described as a male Hispanic.

No one was hurt in the incident.
