There are several beautifully decorated holiday trees at police stations scattered around Sacramento. Tomorrow, November 30th, is the last day to bid on these beautiful decorated trees!

Did you know that there are over 125 volunteer chaplains in Sacramento county who, among many other both proactive and reactive events, respond to emergencies throughout Sacramento county 24/7?

There are some who continue to respond even without a job. By bidding on these gorgeous holiday trees, you are helping us help the community by providing gas cards to very appreciative chaplains.

Bike Trail Will Extend to CSU on River’s South Side

Our midtown neighbors recieved great river restoration and bike trail news!

Dear Friends of the River Banks,

Now the news can be told. We are excited to announce that we have received a $1.5 million Prop 84 grant for Sutter’s Landing Park!! FORB, in partnership with Friends of Sutter’s Landing (FOSL) and the City of Sacramento, worked to get the money for habitat restoration along the river, extending the bike path (which will eventually go to CSU), and creating an aesthetic gateway to the river near the parking lot. A restroom will also be added to the built area above the river.
