You’ve Graduated! Now What? | Business

This is an awesome time for you!  You have worked hard, long hours, and probably wondered when you’d “get out.”  You are to be applauded for your accomplishments and take the time to (safely) celebrate.  Your parents and community are proud of you, and want the best for you.  Be sure to take some time to thank and hug your parents; they love you and want what’s best for you!

Now the bad news.  If you haven’t heard by now, unfortunately neither graduating from high school or even college will likely adequately prepare you for getting the job you really want.  Even with a college degree, approximately half of all recent graduates are either unemployed or only able to find part-time employment.  Many students exit school without even knowing what they want to do.

Fortunately, with the proper approach your chances for a satisfying career and better life increase dramatically!!
